DESCRIPTION:
This single malt was distilled in 1965 in the Glen Mhor distillery and matured until 2008 in a refill butt. This was followed by the transfer to a fresh Oloroso Sherrybutt, followed by bottling after another 88 months in January 2016. This is probably the first 50-year-old bottling of a Glen Mhor single malt whiskey. The distillery was closed by the way in 1983 and demolished. It is a lost distillery. Individually numbered by hand, this filling comes in the velvet-lined, representative wooden box of the Rare Reserve Series incl. Certificate of Authenticity signed by Andrew W. Symington.
