The Chivas Regal Royal Wedding Edition Decanter was launched in a worldwide edition of only 70 bottles for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19th, 2018. The normal Royal Salute Whiskey was introduced on June 2nd, 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. With 21 shots, she received the highest honors. The Royal Salute Wedding was bottled in a prestigious Dartington crystal decanter. Each bottle is numbered and presented in a luxurious American oak box.
The Royal Salute Wedding Edition bottle is decorated with flowers. These reflect the brand of the royal family. The floral illustration was inspired by spring. Daffodils represent the national emblem of Wales and the poppy represents Meghan Markle’s birthplace in Los Angeles.

Royal Wedding Edition HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle. May 19, 2018. The wooden box is labeled: “Royal Salute Blended Scotch Whiskey – Royal Wedding Edition”. The whiskey was bottled at 40% vol. and 700 ml. Harry and Meghan’s wedding will take place on May 19, 2018 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Only 600 people are on the guest list and only 70 people can purchase one of these rare bottles. An increase in value can probably be expected as it is a very attractive collector’s bottle.

Nose: Intense notes of peach, sherry, hints of liquorice.
Palate: Intense sweetness, creamy caramel and juicy raisins.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet and warm.
