With the Johnnie Walker 40 Years Master’s Ruby Reserve, Johnnie Walker has released a great and extremely rare blend in honor of the 40th anniversary of their Master Blender Jim Beveridge. The Limited Edition was only filled with 398 decanters and is a real treasure for connoisseurs and collectors. The Blendwas composed of whiskeys aged at least 40 years old from eight distilleries selected by Beveridge himself. The grandiose whiskey is characterized by its extremely multifaceted and powerful aroma with fruity aromas of cherries and plums paired with noble notes of dark chocolate and a hint of sea salt. The extraordinary Johnnie Walker 40 Years Master’s Ruby Reserve with 43% ABV is delivered to match the ruby anniversary in a rose gold handcrafted Baccarat decanter with a capacity of 0.7 liters, for the color of which clear crystal glass has been fused with 24 carat gold powder.

The Master’s Ruby Reserve is a very special blend of whiskeys from Johnnie Walker’s extensive and very old stocks. To mark his 40th professional anniversary, master blender Jim Beveridge was asked to create a limited edition whiskey from these old stocks. Beveridge and his team then selected both aged whiskeys from ghost distilleries and active distilleries. Cambus, Carsebridge, Pittyvaich, Port Ellen, Talisker, Royal Lochnagar, Glendullan and Cragganmore distilleries are represented. The whiskey creation is not only a grandiose composition with breathtaking aromas, but also an expression of the unique career of Jim Beveridge, who has worked at all of these distilleries during his career.
