Drambuie The Jacobite Collection
Drambuie is one of the most famous and popular whiskey liqueurs from Scotland. Its aroma is obtained from whiskey, which is supplemented with honey and various herbs. In the Jacobite Collection, it appears in its noblest form and is reminiscent of the name of the Jacobites, who helped shape the history of the country as supporters of the exiled Scottish king.
Of the exclusive The Jacobite Collection, just one edition of 150 noble presentation boxes was produced. In addition to a bottle of Drambuie, which was made from a 45-year-old whiskey, the handmade replica of a Spottiswooden Amen glass and a second closure for the noble decanter are included. A 32-page leather-bound booklet written by Ian Buxton tells the story of the Jacobite Rebellion. Everything in the Jacobite Collection is focused on special high quality and playing with the splendor of bygone days.
The shape of the crystal decanter is based on the mid-18th century. Fine engravings cover it as well as the glass and give it a particularly stately appearance. Everything from The Jacobite Collection is designed to capture the craftsmanship and heritage that is the heart of Drambuie. Just as high-quality as the outer presentation is also the noble spirit, which is hidden in the crystal decanter. It shows notes of vanilla, green apple and freshly cut grass, which are complemented by the sweetness of honey and herbal notes. Nuances of toffee, licorice, fennel and cardamom are revealed. The Drambuie from The Jacobite Collection is thus a balanced but equally complex taste experience, which ends in a finish with a light oak note and mild hints of herbs.
