Chivas Regal The Icon with 0.7l and 43% Vol.
Since September 2015, the range of Chivas Regal whiskeys has been expanded to include “The Icon”, an absolutely exceptional blend that is intended to set new standards for the brand. Only produced in a limited edition per year, the luxury blend is the crowning glory of the range.
This blended Scotch uses single malts from Strathisla, the oldest still operating distillery in the Scottish Highlands, as well as whiskey from the Longmorn and Glen Keith brands. A total of over 20 whiskeys were used to create this unique Chivas Regal Whisky.
Each bottle of The Icon is hand filled and comes as part of a strictly limited edition. The noble decanters are manufactured in the Darlington crystal manufactory, where each bottle is mouth-blown and decorated with fine metal applications. The slightly greenish tinge is a tribute to the Chivas Regal bottle from 1905.
Color: Dark amber.
Nose: Complex, fruity and sweet with hints of runny honey, ripe pears, dark chocolate and orange fondants
Palate: Full-bodied and fruity with notes of sweet orange, peach syrup and vanilla. The sweet whiskey flavors are perfectly balanced by the subtle hazelnut flavor that comes from the cask
Finish: Long lasting, rich and sweet
