Cambridge Watenshi Gin 45% vol. 0.70l
Watenshi, probably the most exclusive gin in the world – created in the Cambridge Distillery. This distillate is rarer than any other on this planet, an incomparable taste experience. The Japanese angel captures what should not exist. It’s that portion, that tiny little fraction of the spirit that escapes during the distillation. Cambridge Distillery found a way to preserve that elusive percentage of their Japanese gin. Atmospheric pressure and unbelievably cold temperatures are used. 15ml can be gained per distillation. That means almost fifty distillations are needed for a single bottle of Watenshi Gin. An unbelievable effort that leads to heavenly pleasure.
The Cambridge Watenshi Gin was awarded 88/100 points at the Falstaff Spirits Trophy 2021.
Tasting Notes
Nose : The bouquet is characterized by spices and citrus fruits.
Palate : The silky smooth texture brings out flavors of fresh menthol and pungent yuzu. The basis is juniper and Japanese pepper.
Finish : rich and endless farewell to the palate
